Patna High Court CWJC No.24723 of 2013(5) dt.17-03-2023 2/3 following reliefs:- "1(i). To issue a writ of certiorari for quashing the order dated 02.07.2013 issued by the party chief, GP-27, P-31, CIT, Road, Kolkata, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation limited, Geophysical services, MBA Bosin, Kolkata, whereby and whereunder the representation filed by the petitioner in compliance to the order dated 21.01.2013 passed by this Hon'ble Court has been rejected. (ii). To issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to provide appropriate compensation to the petitioner for damages caused to house and properties of the petitioner which occurred due to serial explosions made on 11.02.2009 from a short distance of only 100 feet from house of petitioner by the agent / contractor of Oil Natural Gas commission under oil mines exploration mission conducted in village Dhanpura situated in Kishanganj PS of Kishanganj District And/or pass such other order(s) to which the petitioner is entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case."
After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so
