Petitioner retired from the post of Junior Engineer with effect from 31.07.2009 from the Water Resources Department, Government of Bihar. He submits that G.P.F. with interest has not been paid to him.
A supplementary counter affidavit has been filed by the respondent no. 4 stating therein that G.P.F. calculation with interest has been done and a sum of Rs.6,09,888/- is payable to the petitioner and the calculation sheet is at Annexure 'A' to the supplementary counter affidavit.
Considering the averments, made in the
Patna High Court CWJC No.2889 of 2018(4) dt.19-12-2018 2/2 supplementary counter affidavit, the present writ application is disposed off with a direction to the District Provident Officer, West Champaran at Bettiah, to make payment of the calculated G.P.F. with interest amounting to Rs.6,09,888/- within a period of one month from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. Any statutory and admissible interest, due to late payment, would also be paid to the petitioner. (Nilu Agrawal, J) Shamshad/- U
