2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Udwantnagar P.S. Case No. 200 of 2024 dated 15.05.2024 registered for the offence punishable u/s 324, 326, 326A, 326B and 307 of the I.P.C.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to have poured the acid over the body of the informant's husband causing severe injury.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. It is also submitted that there is no eye-witness of the occurrence alleging to the fact that the petitioner participated in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67064 of 2024(3) dt.17-12-2024 2/2 the alleged occurrence. The petitioner has clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 23.05.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner by submitting that there is specific allegation against the petitioner to pour the acid over the body of the informant's husband. As per the para no. 17 of the case diary, the victim has supported the prosecution case and the injury which is caused to the victim is grievous in nature.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the specific and heinous nature of allegation against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and the same is rejected in connection with Udwantnagar P.S. Case No. 200 of 2024 pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara
