Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20(B)(ii)(c)/22(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. About 25 kilograms of Ganja was, allegedly, recovered from the vehicle which was being driven by the petitioner.
Petitioner is in custody since 04.08.2016.
Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge him on bail in connection with Udwant Nagar Police Station Case No. 295 of 2016 pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, Bhojpur, Ara. Hence, prayer for bail is refused.
