Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Beur P.S. Case No.241 of 2016, registered under Sections 302 and 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

There is specific allegation against the petitioner of shooting at the deceased by firearm along with others and thereafter looted Rs.50,000/-.

Having considered the nature of offence and specific accusation against the petitioner, his prayer of bail is rejected in connection with Beur P.S. Case No.241 of 2016 pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IIIrd, Patna. The report of the trial court dated 17.03.2018 shows

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36508 of 2017(7) dt.09-04-2018 2/2 that the trial of the case is proceeding, so the trial court is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law.
