1. Though the present writ petition was filed for directing the District Magistrate/District Arms Magistrate, Lakhisarai to dispose off the pending application of the petitioner for grant of arms license, however, it is submitted that during the pendency of the present writ petition, final decision has already been taken, which has been challenged, before the appellate authority, hence the appellate authority be directed to dispose off the Appeal, within a stipulated time frame.

2. Having, regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to observe that in case any appeal

Patna High Court CWJC No.14078 of 2023(2) dt.30-04-2024 2/2 has been filed by the petitioner, before the Divisional Commissioner, Munger Division, Munger, the same shall be considered in accordance with law and disposed off by a reasoned and a speaking order, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

3. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
