It has been pointed out by the learned counsel for the State that though the writ petition has been filed for quashing the first information report, on completion of investigation, the police have already submitted charge-sheet before the court of Magistrate long back on 31.10.2016 vide charge-sheet no. 154 of 2016.

Having come to know about the subsequent developments, learned counsel for the petitioner conceded that

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.1337 of 2016(2) dt.09-01-2019 2/2 due to efflux of time, the writ petition has become infructuous. In that view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous.
