Petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 15.07.2017 in connection with Sheikhpura P.S. Case No. 107/2017 for offences punishable under Sections 272, 273, 353 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
The prosecution case, as lodged by the police personnel, is that on secret information that illegal liquor is being sold near brickkiln, the police raided the place. The petitioner tried to flee away but was apprehended and 20 litres of country-made wine in two plastic jars was recovered.
It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that he is innocent, bears no criminal history, nothing has been recovered from his conscious possession and has been

Considering the facts and circumstances and the materials on record, let petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 1st Addl. District and Sessions Judge, Sheikhpura, in connection with Sheikhpura P.S. Case No. 107 of 2017.
