Following reliefs have been sought for in the present writ application on behalf of the petitioner: (i) For a direction to the concerned respondents to make payment of arrears of salary for the period 11-12-1988 to 25-091997 as well as 11-02-2004 to 01-10-2007, during which the petitioner was functioning and discharging his duties as Lecturer on Ad hoc basis in K.P. College, Murliganj within the B N Mandal University but unfortunately, the same has not been paid to the petitioner despite several reminders

Patna High Court CWJC No.10957 of 2017 (4) dt.24-07-2018 although the same has been paid in case of similarly situated persons and the petitioner is also entitled for the same.

(ii) For a further direction to the Respondents to make payment of interest at the rate of 18% per annum over such delayed payment as despite repeated reminders the same has not been paid to this petitioner as yet.

In the present writ application, for redressal of his grievance, the petitioner has filed a representation vide Annexure8 to this application before the Registrar, B N Mandal University, Lalu Nagar, Madhepura (respondent No. 4). It has further been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the said representation is still pending.

The respondent No. 4 is directed to dispose of the said representation and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
