The petitioner is accused in connection with Complaint Case No. 1031 of 2014, registered under Sections 323, 307, 379 & 497 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
The accusation is of torturing to the complainant by her husband (Petitioner) and other in-laws and also performing remarriage of her husband.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner performed remarriage with the consent of the complainant, who is wife of the petitioner, but with ulterior
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3926 of 2017 (2) dt.23-02-2017 2/2 motive the complainant lodged this case against the petitioner and others. The petitioner is in custody since 19.11.2016. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Banka in connection with Complaint Case No. 1031 of 2014.
