The petitioner who is in custody since 15.4.2017 in Begusarai Nagar P.S. Case No. 550 of 2016 registered for the offence under section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016 has prayed for grant of bail.

It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner, without any rhyme and reason, is languishing in jail since 15.4.2017. He submits that only on allegation of recovery of huge quantity of Indian make foreign liquor from his field he was made accused.
