The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sikandara P.S. Case No.265 of 2018 registered under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that on 08.11.2018, the informant along with his family had gone to offer Puja at the Kali Temple. In that course, the Gold Mangal-Sutra and chain were snatched from the neck of the wife of the informant regarding which the information was given to the Management of the Temple. On seeing the video footage, it came to know that a group of three ladies after snatching the aforesaid ornaments had given the same to Sadhu of the name of Babulal Giri. On query, it also

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58976 of 2019(2) dt.18-09-2019 2/2 came to know that the three ladies and Sadhu are absconding and Babulal Giri used to run a gang with his father-in-law Shukhdeo Giri (petitioner).

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the father-in-law of Babulal Giri. On mere suspicion, he has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Having considered the facts and the circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender by him within six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Jamui, in connection with Sikandara P.S. Case No.265 of 2018, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. (Rajendra Kumar Mishra, J) P.S./- U T
