The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 465, 467, 468, 471, 420, 323 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioners that they have appended forged signatures of the complainant and other on a family arrangement in order to get her share of land mutated in their names. When the complainant asked why they have committed forgery, the accused persons abused and insulted her. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case. The

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62342 of 2022(2) dt.23-02-2023 2/2 allegation levelled against the petitioners is not specific rather general and omnibus in nature. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner no. 1 is the sister-in-law of the complainant and petitioner no. 2 is the brother-in-law of the complainant. He submits that the complainant has filed several cases against the petitioners without any reason. There is admitted land dispute between the parties. Petitioners have got two criminal antecedents as mentioned in para-3 of this application.

Learned APP for the State opposes prayer for bail. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioners, be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned lower Court where the case is pending/successor Court in connection with Complaint Case No.867 of 2022, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
