Mr. AJAY KUMAR-1 ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE DR. JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER 19-08-2017 I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State.
The petitioners seek bail in a case registered for offences punishable under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
It is contended that, as per allegation, about 21 litres of foreign liquor were recovered from the possession of the petitioners. Petitioners claims that they are having clean antecedents and are in custody since 13.6.2017. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioners are directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Rupees Ten
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.38612 of 2017(2) dt.19-08-2017 2/2 Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Excise Act, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 136 of 2017. If the petitioners, after their release in this case, are again found involved in similar nature of cases then the concerned court would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of their bail bonds.
