2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Chhatauni P.S. Case No. 643 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 379, 504, 506 of IPC.

3. As per prosecution case, when the informant along with his son was going to Chhatauni Chowk, the petitioner along with co-accused Rahul Baitha came and caught the hand of the informant. Co-accused Rahul Baitha assaulted the son of the informant with sharp edge glass on his neck and the petitioner snatched Rs. 7,000/- from the informant's pocket.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that allegation of assault is against co-accused Rahul Baitha. So far as the petitioner is concerned, there is allegation of snatching Rs.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66543 of 2024(2) dt.25-09-2024 2/2 7000/- from the pocket of the informant against him. He further submitted that co-accused Rahul Baitha has been granted bail by court below itself and the petitioner is under custody since 14.03.2024.

5. On the other hand, learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, the petitioner, above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Chhatauni P.S. Case No. 643 of 2023, subject to the following condition that the petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
