In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Purnia Sadar P.S. Case No.90 of 2017, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 409/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

The petitioner is the driver and owner of the vehicle. The grain was to be transported from F.C.I. godown to the Godown of the Block, but the vehicle was found parked at the residence of the petitioner, which does not come in the route.
