The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, while the informant alongwith his wife was going on motorcycle, four miscreants riding on two motorcycles intercepted him and on the point of pistol, snatched key of motorcycle and golden chain from the neck of wife of informant.

Petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. Name of the petitioner transpired during course of investigation in the confessional statement of co-accused Santosh Kumar, who has already been granted bail by this Court, vide order dated 07.12.2021 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 56454 of 2021. No looted article has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and till date, he has not been put on T.I.Parade. Petitioner is in custody since 04.08.2021. Investigation is complete.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1618 of 2022(3) dt.26-04-2022 2/2 Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the bail petition of petitioner is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chapra, Saran in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 576 of 2020.
