The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, while the informant was travelling in the train from Rajendra Nagar Terminal his mobile phone was stolen.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the FIR was registered against unknown. The name of the petitioner transpired in course of investigation on the statement of co-accused Raushan Kumar from whom the alleged mobile phone was recovered and he gave statement to the effect that he had purchased the stolen mobile from this petitioner. No other

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the submissions made, the nature of material that has transpired in course of investigation, the petitioner having remained in custody for more than a year since 19.7.2021 and chargesheet having been submitted in the case, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with GRP Patna (Rajendra Nagar) P.S. Case no. 193 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Railway Judicial Magistrate, Patna.
