The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bahadurpur (Pator O.P.) P.S. Case No. 358 of 2022 registered under Sections 7(i)a, (ii), 9(i) and 9(ii) of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Further submission is that petitioner is a respected man having no criminal antecedent. He also submits that during investigation not even a single witness has stated that either higher price was charged for any fertilizer or any fertilizer and medicine was of substandard nature. P.S. Case No. 358 of 2022, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C.
