The instant application has been filed for modification of the order dated 6.3.2020 (Annexure-1) passed in Cr. Misc. no. 3404 of 2020 whereby while granting bail to the two petitioners therein in connection with Patrakar Nagar P.S. Case no. 286 of 2018, it was directed that the petitioners shall surrender in the Court below within a period of 6 weeks from the date of passing of the order.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that for reasons beyond the control of the petitioners, they could not surrender within the time fixed in the order dated 6.3.2020 and hence the application. It is further submitted that in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6089 of 2022(3) dt.15-02-2023 2/2 compliance of the direction of this Court dated 16.2.2022 passed in the instant case, cost of Rs. 10,000/- has been deposited and a copy of the receipt issued vide receipt no. 1321 dated 24.2.2022 (Annexure-1) by the Patna High Court Legal Services Committee has been brought on record as Annexure-1 to the supplementary affidavit. It is prayed that the order dated 6.3.2020 needs to be suitably modified extending the period for the petitioners to surrender in the Court below. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and having perused the material on record, the order dated 6.3.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 3404 of 2020 granting bail to the two petitioners herein in connection with Patrakar Nagar P.S. Case no. 286 of 2018 is modified to the extent that the time granted therein for the petitioners to surrender in the Court below is extended by a further period of 4 weeks from today. The remaining part of the said order dated 6.3.2020 shall remain unchanged.
