JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 30-04-2024 The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition is to direct the District Arms Magistrate, Nawada/ District Magistrate, Nawada to dispose off the application filed by the petitioner in the month of December, 2020, for grant of arms licence.

The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the aforesaid application is still pending consideration, the same shall definitely be disposed off, within a stipulated time frame, as is directed by this Court. 3.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances
Patna High Court CWJC No.13989 of 2023(2) dt.30-04-2024 2/2 of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Arms Magistrate, Nawada/District Magistrate, Nawada to dispose off the aforesaid application, filed by the petitioner, for grant of arms licence, in case the same is still pending, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order. 4.
The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
