The petitioner being the husband of the daughter of the informant is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 341, 323, 307 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The basic accusation is of torture for non-fulfillment of the dowry demand. It is specifically alleged that the petitioner along with others entered into the house of the informant and assaulted the wife of the informant with sharp cutting weapons causing grievous injury.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that actually assault was made by someone else. The petitioner is still ready to keep the daughter of the informant as wife with full

Considering the nature of accusation, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner if he surrenders within a period of six weeks in connection with Islampur P.S. Case No. 347 of 2015 pending in the court of learned JM, 1st Class, Hilsa, Nalanda. Accordingly, the application is disposed of.
