JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 31-10-2017 It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was appointed as Constable in the district of Gopalganj on 12.07.1974. He superannuated from the post of Subedar on 31.03.2016. Till date payment of his pension and general provident fund has not been made. He submitted that in this regard, the petitioner has also filed a representation before the Superintendent of Police, Katihar on 02.04.2016, but no action on his representation has been taken.

Considering the nature of the grievance of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.12035 of 2017 (2) dt.31-10-2017 2/2 petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the respondent no. 3, Superintendent of Police, Katihar within four weeks from today raising all his claims. In case, such a representation is filed, the respondent no. 3 shall be required to look into the grievance of the petitioner and dispose of the same within a period of eight weeks by passing a reasoned and speaking order. In case, the claims of the petitioner are found admissible, the due amount should be paid to the petitioner within four weeks thereafter. In case, any of the claims of the petitioner is rejected, the order in this regard must be communicated to the petitioner on his postal address through registered post without delay. Registry is directed to communicate a copy of the order to the respondent no. 3 forthwith.
