The petitioner has prayed for the following relief: (i) for quashing the letter no. 372 dated 15.9.2016 (Annexure-9) issued under the signature of Respondent no. 4 by which the respondent no.8 has been allowed to work as Panchayat Prerak and cancelled the selection

Patna High Court CWJC No.2827 of 2018(4) dt.18-09-2023 2/2 of the petitioner which is without jurisdiction and without any show cause as also without following the principle of Natural Justice which is wholly illegal and consequential allow the petitioner to work on the post of Panchayat Prerak with consequential benefits; (ii) for a direction to the respondent authority to pay the remuneration of the post of Panchayat Prerak to the petitioner for the period on which work has been done;

(iii) for a direction to pay the interest on knowingly delayed payment'

(iv) for any other relief/reliefs as petitioner found entitled in the facts and circumstances of the present case.

In view of the non-appearance of the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. (Rajiv Roy, J) Ravi/- U
