1. Heard both the parties.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with P.S. Case No. 25/2022, dated 31.05.2022, instituted for the offences under Sections 7(a)(c)/13 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, amended 2018 pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, Vigilance, Muzaffarpur.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would come within the ambit of the Public Servant and, therefore, he may be granted anticipatory bail as the other two accused have already been granted regular bail.

4. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for grant of bail.

5. I have considered the submissions. The role assigned to the petitioner is of a middle-man. The investigation, therefore, is

6. Accordingly, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and the same is dismissed.

7. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court below.
