The petitioners apprehend their arrest in G.O. Case No. 60/2010 corresponding to T.R. No. 2373/2013, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 16(A)(1) of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act.

Petitioner is a shop-keeper and he was selling Captain cooking salt. Manufacturer of Captain cooking salt is of Rajasthan. The Food Inspector found that the salt does not meet the prescribed standard of P.F.A Rules.

It is submitted that the petitioner is not manufacturer and there is no complaint about contamination of salt. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioners above-

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20839 of 2016 (2) dt.20-05-2016 2/2 named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jhanjharpur in connection with G.O. Case No. 60/2010 corresponding to T.R. No. 2373/2013, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J.) Vinita/- U T
