I.A. No. 7044 of 2014 is filed on behalf of the petitioners seeking amendment in the prayer. In fact, the petitioners in the said Interlocutory Application has made certain

Patna High Court CWJC No.25652 of 2013 (10) dt.31-08-2016 2/2 suggestion(s) to the respondent no.1 for effecting alteration /modification /improvement in the Rules framed by the High Court under Section 34(1) of the Advocates Act, 1961 regulating the procedure for enrolling lawyers as Advocate on Record to practice in this Court.

Mr. Jha states that the application, in so far as petitioner no.3, namely, Sumit Jha has become infructuous as he has been enrolled as AOR. It has also fairly been submitted that in view of the Rule provision(s) and the stand of the respondent the petitioner nos. 1 and 2 have no case to succeed. The suggestion(s) made by the petitioners in the present case for effecting appropriate alteration/modification/improvement in the Rules framed by the High Court shall be made by the petitioners before the respondent no.1 for consideration on the administrative side. The counsel for the respondent no.1 has not objected to such prayer of the petitioners. It has been submitted that if any such request/suggestion is made, the same shall be placed for consideration on the administrative side of the High Court. Granting the said liberty to the petitioners, the writ application is dismissed.
