Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within two weeks of the complete start of the physical Court in normal course.

The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with D.R.I. (N.D.P.S.) Case No. 35 of 2021 for the offence punishable under Sections 399 and 402/34 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act and Sections 20 and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

Allegation is of recovery of 1⁄2 Kg of charas from the possession of the petitioner.

Taking into consideration the quantity of charas which

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2167 of 2022(2) dt.17-05-2022 2/2 has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the present bail application is rejected. The trial court is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously.
