2. Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 110, 85, 352, 351(2), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 3/4 of the of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. It is alleged that due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry, on 12.05.2025, all the F.I.R. named accused persons
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65943 of 2025(2) dt.22-09-2025 2/3 including these petitioners assaulted informant. Petitioner no. 2 is alleged to have assaulted on the head of informant with knife.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner no. 1 is father-in-law, petitioner no. 2 is mother-inlaw, petitioner no. 3 is brother-in-law, petitioner no. 4 is Gotni and petitioner no. 5 is sister-in-law (Nanad) of the informant and they are simply victims of over implications. Allegation of assault is general and omnibus. Injury, allegedly, caused by petitioner no. 2 is simple in nature. Moreover, thrust of accusation is against husband of the informant who has already been granted bail. Petitioners claim clean antecedent.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State as well as learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposed the bail application.

Considering the nature of accusation, relationship between parties, simple injury and clean antecedent, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioners in the event of their arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate 1st, Araria in
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65943 of 2025(2) dt.22-09-2025 3/3 connection with Raniganj P. S. Case No. 183 of 2025, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
