Upadhyay, Assistant Counsel to Government Pleader No.3, appearing on behalf of the State-respondents.

Having regard to the fact that the counter affidavit, which has been filed by the State-respondents, shows that the investigation of Ekma P.S. Case No.136 of 2013 is still pending, it is hereby directed that respondent No.2, namely, the Superintendent of Police, Saran, shall enquire into the grievances raised in the writ petition and do the needful in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably, within a period of six months, ensuring proper, fair and effective investigation in such a way

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.616 of 2016 (4) dt.14-09-2016 2/2 that no innocent person is harassed and adequate security is provided to the petitioner.

Let a copy of this order be sent forthwith to the Superintendent of Police, Saran, and Investigating Officer of Ekma Police Station, Saran.
