The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Keoti P.S. Case No. 145 of 2018 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Petitioner has got no concern with the car in question or the so called seized articles. Further he submits that before the alleged occurrence, the petitioner has sold his vehicle. It is also submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1744 of 2022(2) dt.06-05-2022 2/2 event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing personal bond to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge-IIcum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Darbhanga in connection with Keoti P.S. Case No. 145 of 2018, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C.
