The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Excise Case No. 82 of 2015 for the offences alleged under Section 47(a)(f) of the Excise Act.

The allegation as made by the raiding team of Sub Inspector of the Excise Department along with others is that 100 Kilograms of fermented mahua flowers and 35 litres of illicit liquor prepared thereon were recovered from lonely place allegedly occupied and controlled by the petitioner. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is no specific allegation that the petitioner was involved in the said offence and the allegations made are vague and baseless. Be that as it may, let the petitioner namely, Pradeep Chaudhary in the event of his arrest/surrender before the Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing of the bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate in connection with Excise Case No. 82 of 2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
