Earlier bail applications of the petitioner were rejected vide Cr. Misc. No. 26527 of 2018 under order dated 19.06.2018, Cr. Misc. No. 11730 of 2019 under order dated 03.07.2019 and Cr. Misc. No. 25488 of 2021 under order dated 01.12.2021, annexed as Annexures-1, 1/A and 1/B to the present application taking into account that the petitioner happens to be the husband of the deceased.

This is fourth attempt on behalf of the petitioner for grant of bail.

A report was called for from the court below regarding the present stage of the case. It has been reported that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63443 of 2022(3) dt.15-02-2023 2/2 the prosecution evidence has already been closed and the case is fixed for the defence evidence and the trial is likely to be concluded within a period of three months.

Considering the nature of accusation and the stage of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same is rejected in Sessions Trial No. 375/2018, arising out of Kasim Bazar P.S. Case No. 93/2016, corresponding to G.R. No. 1208 of 2016, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Munger.

Learned court below is directed to take all necessary steps to conclude the trial at the earliest.
