04. 12.02.2016 The Petitioner seeks transfer of the case from the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai to Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna on the ground that he apprehends danger to his life in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 434 of 2014. Since the Petitioner is not required to present himself in Court except when directed to do so once he is granted bail, I see no reason for transferring the case. Hence, the Application is dismissed.

It is expected that the Jail Authorities will take proper precaution for safety of the Petitioner if at all he is remanded to judicial custody.
