2. The petitioner is named in the Complaint case and apprehending her arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 12200(c) of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 85, 76, 109, 316(2), 3(5), of BNS, 2023.
3. As per complaint, petitioner alleged to commit mental and physical cruelty upon complainant/ OP No. 2 due to non fulfillment of demand of dowry as raised for cash of Rs. 15 lakh.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is mother-in-law
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.64583 of 2025(6) dt.29-06-2026 2/2 having no connection with daily and domestic affairs of complainant and her husband namely, Avinash Kumar Singh. It is submitted that petitioner was implicated only for the reason that she is mother-in-law. It is submitted that allegation of demand of dowry against petitioner is very much general and omnibus in nature. Petitioner claimed clean antecedent. 5.Learned APP opposes the prayer of bail.

In view of aforesaid factual submission and by taking note of fact as petitioner is mother-in-law having general and omnibus allegation qua demand of dowry, accordingly petitioner above-named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks, is directed to be released on bail, furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned JM 1st Class, Patna /concerned Court, where the case is pending in connection with Complaint Case No. 12200(c) of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of BNSS.
