2. In the instant case, the prayer of the petitioner is to issue a direction to the respondents to pay the arrears relating to 5th pay revision for the period of 01.04.1997 to 31.10.2000.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he retired as an Electric Superintending Engineer from the office of Patratu Thermal Power Station, Hazaribagh on 31.12.2000. He has been paid the entire retiral dues except the arrears related to 5th pay revision by the respondents.

4. No counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondents.

5. As the petitioner retired about twenty years ago, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to raise his grievance, first before the Managing Director, Bihar State Power Holding Company Ltd. Patna, making representation, if, according to him, the amount which has been paid to him is less than what he is actually entitled to.

6. If the petitioner makes such representation within three months from today, the same shall be considered and disposed of by a reasoned order one month thereafter. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J) rohit/- U
