Patna High Court CWJC No.12914 of 2017 dt.30-10-2017 2/2 petitioners applied for registration of their MD degree in August, 2017 and have approached this Court, seeking direction to the Bihar Council of Medical Registration, Patna, to grant registration.

2. It is submitted on behalf of the Medical Council of India that the application is pre-mature and the petitioners ought to have waited for the decision of the Bihar Council of Medical Registration, on their representation.

3. Be that as it may, in the facts and circumstances of the case, I dispose of this writ application with a direction to the Bihar Council of Medical Registration, Patna, to consider the grievance of the petitioners and take appropriate decision in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt/presentation of a copy of this order.

4. If the decision of the Bihar Council of Medical Registration is adverse to the interest of these petitioners, it will be required to record reasons for the same.
