Petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Paharkatta P.S. Case No. 49 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Section 363, 366 of the Indian Penal Code.

Informant is the father of victim who in his written complaint has alleged that his daughter Ikra (Khushbu), aged about 17 years had gone for tuition with her younger sister by bicycle and at the time of returning she was kidnapped by the petitioner alongwith two other co-accused.

In her statement recorded under Section 164 of Cr.P.C., she has supported her allegation made against the petitioner, however, medical report does not support such

Trial has commenced and one witness has already been examined as such I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
