Mr. ANIL PRASAD SINGH ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE DR. JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER 21-09-2017 I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State.
The petitioners seek bail in a case registered for offences punishable under sections 30 (a) /38(i) (ii)/41(i) (ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
It is contended that, as per allegation, 400 litres of country-made liquor were recovered from a Martui van and petitioners were apprehended on the spot. Petitioners claim that they are having clean antecedents and are in custody since 17.7.2017.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioners are directed to be released on bail
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46386 of 2017(2) dt.21-09-2017 2/2 on their furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Exicse, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Dehri (T) P.S. Case No. 529 of 2017. If the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found involved in similar nature of cases then the concerned court would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bonds.
