The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Danapur P.S. case No. 102 of 2019 registered under Section 498A, 341, 323, 509, 406, 34 of the IPC and u/s 37(C) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

The informant is the daughter-in-law of petitioner No.1 and petitioner No.2 is married sister-in-law of the informant.

The informant alleged that her husband, who is a drunkard, used to assault her after taking liquor. The informant also made demand of dowry and torture against the petitioners. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that

Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of allegation made against the petitioners and the fact that petitioners are mother-in-law and sister-in-law of the informant, the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest/ surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order are directed to be enlarged on bail on their furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna in connection with Danapur P.S. case No. 102 of 2019, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
