2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

"for issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other writ or writs or direction or

Patna High Court CWJC No.14975 of 2025(2) dt.23-09-2025 2/2 directions to the respondent no. 2 namely Collectorcum-District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram, to dispose the Jamabandi Cancellation Appeal No. 1006 of 2024-25 pending in the Court of Collector (Respondent no. 2) Rohtas at Sasaram for quashing the order dated 02.09.2024 passed by the Addl. Collector, Rohtas (Sasaram) in Jamabandi Cancellation Case No. 07 of 2024."

3. It is unfortunate that even for disposal of the Jamabandi Cancellation Appeal No. 1006 of 2024-25, which is pending before the respondent no. 2, the Collector, Rohtas at Sasaram, the petitioner has to knock the doors of the Court.

4. Learned State counsel submits that it shall be taken to its logical conclusion at an earliest.

5. Accepting the words of the learned State counsel, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the Collector, Rohtas at Sasaram (respondent no. 2) to take the Jamabandi Cancellation Appeal No. 1006 of 2024-25 and dispose it of preferably by 31st of March, 2026.
