The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Khajauli P.S. Case No. 143 of 2023 registered for the offence under Section 272, 273, 414, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 25.07.2023 and there is recovery of 468 litres of Nepali liquor from his possession. He further submits that he has clean antecedent.

Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.

Considering the period of custody and recovery of liquor from his possession, this application for regular bail is allowed.
