In this case, the petitioner is seeking regularization of his services after lapse of a period of 30 years from the date of his retrenchment/quitting his service in the year 1988 and, after that period till date, he has not worked in the Department. Earlier the petitioner had filed a writ application, C.W.J.C. No. 13990 of 2010 which was permitted to be withdrawn.

This is not a fit case to exercise the jurisdiction for

Patna High Court CWJC No.7999 of 2018(3) dt.01-10-2018 2/2 giving direction for consideration of the representation which is pending consideration. This Court does not find any merit in the present writ application and the same is, accordingly, dismissed on the ground of delay and laches as well as on merit. (Shivaji Pandey, J) rishi/- U
