JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 20-09-2024 Heard Mr. Prabhakar Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Manoj Kumar, learned AC to GP - 4 appearing on behalf of the State.
2. The petitioner, in paragraph no. 1 of the present writ petition, has sought, inter alia, the following relief(s), which is reproduced hereinafter:- "That this application is for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction commanding upon the respondent authorities for (i) promotion of the petitioner to the post/post of Police Inspector with retrospective effect from 30.03.2015 (ii) promotion to the post/post of Dy. Superintendent of Police establishing State Seniority List with retrospectives effect under time bound promotion scheme with all consequential benefits (iii) Payment of
Patna High Court CWJC No.14287 of 2024(2) dt.20-09-2024 2/2 arrear of salary and other allowances for the period from 13.07.2013 06.11.2013 (iv) quashing of entire proceedings of Vaishali Zila Departmental Proceeding No.-1/14 including order passed therein deducting Rs.40000/- from the salary of the petitioner, one KALANK AND Stopping 06 month increment of salary of the petitioner and (v) other reliefs as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner informs that the petitioner has already filed representation before the Director General of Police, Bihar, on 06.07.2024 and on 20.07.2024 to redress his grievance and relief(s), as prayed for in the present writ petition but the same is still pending and, as such, the concerned authority may be directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner.
4. Considering the aforesaid submission made on behalf of the petitioner, the concerned authority is directed to consider the grievance of the petitioner, in accordance with law, expeditiously, by disposing of his representation.
5. In case of delay in any manner, the petitioner may take action against the respondent/s concerned.
