2. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Abadpur P.S. Case No. 96 of 2023 for the offence under Sections 498A, 323, 504, 34 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution, the marriage of informant was solemnized with petitioner five years ago thereafter, she went to her matrimonial home and started leading her conjugal life. It is alleged that the husband of the informant along with accused persons started torturing her and demanded dowry. On account of non-fulfillment of demand, they ousted the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 05.07.2023. He further submits

5. Petitioner is the husband of the victim and he is in custody since 05.07.2023.

6. Considering the period of custody, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate-I Class, Katihar in connection with Abadpur P.S. Case No. 96 of 2023.
