Heard learned counsels for the petitioner, informant and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Koilwar P.S. Case No. 141 of 2016 for the offences instituted under Sections 448, 354, 323, 427, 307, 326 and 506/34 of the IPC.

The prosecution story, in brief, is that the petitioner and other co-accused persons attacked the informant and tried to strangulate her husband. They gave a number of knife blows to her which she received in chest and back side. Her husband was also

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. There is no allegation of tampering with the witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The matter has been compromised between the parties vide Annexure2 to the supplementary affidavit. Learned counsel for the informant supports the compromise petition filed in the court below. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Koilwar P.S. Case No. 141/2016 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Bhojpur at Ara, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure .
