2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable in connection with Manpur P.S. Case No.83 of 2023 under Sections 147, 148, 149 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution, the FIR has been lodged against eight named and 4-5 unknown accused persons including the petitioner against whom there is allegation of firing for showing strength in the locality.

4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He submits that there is no allegation of overt act against the petitioner and

5. Learned Counsel also submits that antecedent of the petitioner is not clean and there is five criminal cases pending against the petitioner, out of which, two cases are of section 302 of the I.P.C. in which he has been acquitted.

6. Counsel also submits that the other co-accused has been granted bail by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 29.01.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 69493/2023.

7. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the petitioner's antecedent is not clean.

8. In the present facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, therefore the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected. (Dr. Anshuman, J.) Prakashmani/- U T
