The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Buniyadganj P.S. Case No. 82 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of certain quantities of cough syrup and illicit liquor from a general store, from where a person was apprehended by the police, who disclosed that the petitioner is the supplier of the said cough syrup and illicit liquor.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. The petitioner is stated to be having a clean antecedent and he is languishing in custody since 9.8.2019.

Accordingly, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Gaya, DistrictGaya in connection with Buniyadpur P.S.
