2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case, registered for offence punishable under Sections 137(2), 87, 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023.

3. As per F.I.R., on 15.03.2025, this petitioner and coaccused Ganesh Kumar are alleged to have kidnapped the daughter of informant.

4. The victim, in her statement recorded under Sections 180 and 183 of the B.N.S.S., has supported the prosecution case and specifically stated that it was this petitioner, who called her on 15.03.2025 and when she reached at the specified place, she found three other persons there and on being told by this petitioner, they took her to Panjipara (West Bengal) and sold her in a brothel, where she was sexually exploited for two months.
