2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Fatuha P.S. Case No. 644 of 2022 for the offences punishable under section 302/34 of the IPC lodged on 05.09.2022 by the informant.

3. Though, learned counsel for the petitioner tried to impress upon the Court that there is general and omnibus allegation against the accused persons including the petitioner and one of the accused, Bhola Yadav who was specifically named by the lady has been granted bail in Cr. Misc. No. 38350 of 2023, learned APP opposed the prayer submitting that in that case he was granted bail and not anticipatory bail, he remained in custody for almost nine months, diligently filed the petition whereas in this case, the petitioner despite being named in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70592 of 2024(2) dt.17-01-2025 2/2 FIR chose to file the anticipatory bail after more than two years.

4. Having gone through the submissions of the parties, this Court finds force in the submissions of the learned APP. Despite being named in the FIR, the petitioner chose to casually approach the Court in anticipatory bail, it would be appropriate that he surrenders within four weeks and pray for bail.
